On behalf of the children and families we serve at Boys & Girls Village, thank you for you in-kind donation of holiday gifts and toys for children serviced by our Waterbury Office, which was recorded on our books on Friday, December 22, 2006.
Your donation helps us to deliver quality care and teach vital life skills to students at risk and their families, including children facing educational failure…children removed from their homes for the first time… children in foster and adoptive homes… and children and families in crisis due to drugs, alcohol, neglect or abuse.
As we work with troubled youths and families, we continue to hear from past clients. Even former clients from the 1950s and ‘60s continue to update us on their adult lives.
Now, with the December holidays and New Year just passed, we are especially grateful to everyone who remembered our children and families during this special time of year. The outpouring of gifts, in-kind items and financial donations truly amazes me.
Your support has helped make a difference in their lives, as so many of our young clients deal with family hardships and personal challenges into the new year.
